Boots,my old boots.

When I close my eyes,I hope there's only dark,only that.But my eyes breath that electric air coming from my brain.
I do not remember when it was the last time I slept properly.I'm not able to sleep more than two hours continued.And I know this fact is taking away from me a big part of the years I'll live.I'm really aware of that fact.
Well,this drawing,this little piece of art,tries to show those moments.The eternal fight between dreams,nightmares( a big part of them),"real world",worries...When I wake up in the middle of the night,I take a pencil,a paper,maybe two,a soft melody singing from my music collection,more inspiration that the best bottle of vodka or sweet beer.And I'm there,just drawing,watching the night outside the window,drinking the town's silence,wishing the sun goes on sleeping some time more.
And I enjoy these moments,someday will be over and the sun goes on shining like it always does.

Crows,Dust,Hearts and a hopeful meeting.

"Crows,Dust,Hearts and a hopeful meeting",in a dark land,with trees made by sad smiles.How many time can you wait?How many full moon nights can you stand the winter rain?
Messages.Sweet messages,eternal love promises hanging in your thin bones...But don't give up.
How many flowers must  to bloom to reach out your peace?Warm hearts shining in ants' eye.Green grass dying as a butterfly,so sad.
Travellers who try to defeat time.Black crows smiling at dawn,singing as a choir of  puppets.They know you,they know what is your desire.Just hold on a little more.They are coming.
And I miss you.

Enfant,infantil,children pencil drawing illustration.

This is something full of happiness.This time there isn't pain or cries.I like to be in both sides.Sometimes the happy side,and other times the sad side.I can't just draw or paint one genre.My life is not only one side,there are many different "colors" so my art tries to reflect that thing.But I have to say that I suffer more "downs" than "ups".Maybe it's because undergroung life,miserable life,I don't know.
Well I hope that someday,I wish soon as I can,I could create an album with my drawings,I hope that I find some editorial or publishing house,that would be great.See you!!

You have to rest warrior.

Sometimes even the strongest warrior have to rest.He has to think about his way of life.He has to think about  where does he want to go.And it's hard to give up his sword,the only thing he always has done in his life.But it's necessary to reach out other things.There are many days that your back is begging you to stop.And that's good,because your back knows everything,it's the only thing that really knows you.Your back has haven a big book all these years,and it has written on it everything you have  suffered, loved, hated,needed...
So warrior,think about your time and maybe you will find the way.

Ghostly pirate ship.

The Gates of Hell:Skulls,monsters,vampires...

I love to do scary things,you know:skulls,pumpkins,zombies,vampires,all kind of monsters.It's really fun,because you can imagine everything you want and draw it.It's so cool!!
This one would be great as a tattoo,a back tattoo,with some changes of course,but it would be nice.Last months I have some requests by email from people around the world,telling me about If I could design a tattoo.Well,I had to rejected because I had a lot of work,right now I also have many work,but I have been thinking about it and I think it would be great to do tattoo designs.It would be a brilliant help to make some cool work.So my email is on the right side of this blog.

Different color design/diseños a color.

These two designs are for different jobs.The first tries to be like Marvel comics,with inked shadows and colors.The second one was for a wedding card present company.I prefer the way of the last one.
I share these ones because in all these years I have to do many different things,sometimes works really strange,for people or companies that you never could imagine,but I did them.It's really hard just live of a specific "artistic job".In my case I have to "jump"of film design to comic design,or theatre design to wine bottle design,and many more.It's hard but I'm proud of myself because in every different work I try to do my best.
The worst thing of have to work in different "areas" is when you have to change the little screws of your brain.The best thing is that you can grow as an artist.

Animated Designs.

Here are some art relationed with tv series which I am artistic director and designer.
As you can see in this blog there are different "styles",some are a representation of joy,happiness,sometimes just for kids.But I really enjoy when I do them,like these ones above.Well,I enjoy when my mood is "stable",when sadness is hidden in a part of this body.When that sadness is born,for any reason,it's hard to keep my mind clear and balanced,it's just part of the work.But sometimes there's something strange that makes my mind thinking,I have some friends that they also work in art,some of these ones have lifes full of happiness,as they tell me,but they do things filled of sadness.Strange,really strange...

3D animated tv series.

Here's a preview of my work in a new tv series.You can see the characters,the background,the animals...this is  my job,being the art director.I design main characters,secondary ones,the city,storyboards,...well, too much work, but the result is great.I wish I can go on working in projects like this,I really enjoy them.

I can't show everything I'd want to.This little girl is a secondary character,the traffic light also.

Aquí una animación para una serie de televisión en la que estoy trabajando.Soy el director artístico y bueno me encargo de todo lo referente al estilo,creando:personajes principales,secundarios,vehículos,ciudades,storyboards...
No puedo publicar muchas muestras del trabajo.En este video aparece una niña que es un personaje secundario,así como el semáforo.
Me gustaría conocer vuestra opinión.

Natalie Portman's portrait.

A couple of weeks ago,I saw the film "Black swan".An amazing film!!Natalie Portman acts in it and she wins an Oscar award.She deserves it.She is so talent and intelligent.She always has been my favourite actress since her first movie "The proffesional".So,I decided to make this one.Yesterday,in  afternoon I did it.
This kind of things,"realistic",for me is easy and there is not all the thinking process,creative process that is much more stressful.When you work without references is more difficult.You have to think about lines,shapes,shadows,perspective,ways...Wow!!Too much to process!!
Well,this portrait could be better,even more realistic,but there comes a time when my mind talks and talks about stop,because this kind of art did not bring me anything artistically.That's why I don't make things in this way.It's a road to nowhere for me.
So,there are many people who are known to reach a realistic level in their work,but the funny thing is that if you take away all the visual references that they use,the result is not good.
Be creative!!and you will know how painful,stressful,happy,beauty,amazing...it's the way of create.

Valentine's day.

Today is Valentine's day.Well,I don't care much about it.But,I think is better remembering a love's day that something worse.I don't like all those stupid things that newspapers,magazines or tv do.Every year is the same!!Sometimes I think that days like today, all those people who works there,they have a relaxed work day.They don't have to look for news,just they sitting,take a camera and they do exactly the same that last year.Wow,that's so strange.
But for eveyone who adore this day ,I have done this one.I enjoy drawing these kind of lines,fast,almost without thinking,so natural way.
Remember:Look for someone special,or just find her or him(finding suddenly someone special in your life without looking for him or her,I think is better,let destiny or fate plays its game)and love her or him everyday,remembering how much special he or she is.Don't wait until today to buy roses.

A little sketch.

A new year is here.And this one is the first update of 2011.
I'm working in several projects,but many of them I can´t show them here.Privacy policy.So I've found this one   in an old folder.Below,in others blog entries ,you can find a design with the same character.
I hope soon I can show you my new projects,some they are finished but they are in process of publishing.

Christmas card 2010.

This is the Christmas card 2010.There is a compilation of others cards ,from right to left:2006-2007-2008-2009-2010.
The planet is dying,and all these years things are going worse.Maybe there will be a year when Santa just rest in peace in an empty planet.
Why do governments continue this way?Well,their hands are too dirty trying to get all the money they can.
Recycle.Recycle mind,recycle soul,recycle body,recycle money...
Save the planet.

New Era.

These days,I'm working pretty hard.Maybe summer is time for holidays,but for me is used to be a busy period of work.

I´ve finished 3 page of a comic,for children.Then I'm developing designs and art for Tv.And I'm working in new stuff,personal work,here is a drawing of a part of that.

I'm trying to make a solid work.It's so exciting the process of create,I'm enjoying a lot.I enjoy with beauty but pain is also a great fountain of inspiration.There is a moment,when all is dark,when the sun is hidden,streets are in silence , with soft music sounding in my ears,I don't belong to this world,just I'm one with my art.

Eternal Pain.

There are times when I'm between two worlds.Sometimes my breathing problems,makes me feel far of this land.I think that not be able to breathing is one of the worst thing I can feel.

Anyway,I have to live with this illness forever.Luckily,this problem only happens some days.

Well,this one reflects when air doesn't reach easily my brain.When my body is so tired to be standing.

Marine city.

Another marine design,for a turkish web.I like it.Sometimes when days,sometimes months,pass,and I look some designs again,it's when I enjoy more of them.My mind and memory are so bad,I forget almost everything.I look them,every line,shadow and I feel happy.That's when the effort has worthed.

My torment.

There's nothing more to say.Madness,sadness,loneliness,heartless...When you lose something,you need-not just a girl-,things like:bravery,talent,brain,yourself...There are one thing that one person can't forget or lose,his "being".The way of thinking,his fights,the way of trying of being better every day.Filling his soul with "important things",to find peace.Time will erase everything with cruelty,just leaving dust.Maybe it's time to change things.
